We headed back to the storage unit to fetch 2 more boxes to bring to the boat. We had every intention of putting everything away, but there was no wind, high humidity and it was extremely hot. This is not a good combination when you want to do work inside the boat! So, we decided not to put anything away. While we were there, the workers started installing our new hatches. They look really good, and will improve the safety when taking green water over the bow. By the time we left for the day, 4 of the 5 hatches had been replaced. Since we still had some time before Inflatable Experts were supposed to be there, we headed out to lunch. Unfortunately, the yard closes at 4:00 PM sharp, and I do mean SHARP! Everyone except office staff had left for the day. I got on the phone with Vicky the Ops manager, then with Scott, the manager. I reminded him that customer service would seem to dictate that if you are going to a store and to a customer site, the customer site should take precedence of the store.
