January 17-19, 2003 -- Margarita again

We left for Margarita on the 8:00 am ferry. We arrived around 10:30 am or so. Don picked us up since he was out that way and we headed to Chacachacare, the only boat yard in Margarita. Too bad that anything with a draft of over 6 feet can not get into the yard. He was checking on a friend's boat there. After that, we headed to lunch with Don, Jake and Precocious Gale at Punta Criollo. We had a fun time catching up with Jake, who we haven't seen in several months, and it is always great to see Precocious Gale. After lunch, we walked down town before heading to the hotel to check in and take a nap. We went to dinner, and then spent the evening at Jak's before heading to the Pescador. On January 18, we did our usual. We had breakfast at Jak's before running around looking for things that we can't get in Peurto La Cruz. That evening, we helped Tim on Merlin celebrate his birthday along with Precocious Gale, Lorelai and Don and Jak. On January 19, we returned to Peurto La Cruz.
